Masonry Render

RSA’s Masonry Renders are easy to apply, pre-bonded, polymer modified, cement based renders which require only the addition of clean water. They are suitable for interior/exterior use and can be applied by hand or machine. They are available in rapid, medium and slow setting versions to enable YOU TO CHOOSE THE SET TIME!set time There will always be on-site and climate variables which none of us can control. However, RSA have formulated a range of renders for all occasions giving you greater control of the application process across a range of situations. In an industry first the RSA masonry render range (MR180, MR120 & MR 60) allows you to choose the render with the most suitable working time for your project – depending on the size of the job, the size and experience of your team and the climate. All products manufactured by River Sands are done so to ISO 9001 and undergo rigorous testing at their NATA certified on-site laboratory. RSA Masonry Renders use the latest dual binding technology and chemical additives which provide:

  • Greater adhesion
  • Timely hardness
  • Minimal shrinkage

MR Coarse, MR180, MR120 and MR60

  • Specially modified cement based renders which require only the addition of clean water.
  • Provides increased adhesion to all suitable, properly prepared substrates.
  • Manufactured to strict QA procedures to guarantee the right formula every time.
  • Ensures the same quality, integrity and longevity of the render.
  • Suitable for hand or machine application.
  • MR Coarse
  • MR180
  • MR120
  • MR60
  • MR Coarse Grey
Formulated to provide:MR Coarse (149x251)

  •  A coarse grain with a traditional render finish
  • Superior ‘towel-ability’
  • Increased adhesion
  • Tear resistant ‘spread-ability’

Most suitable for:

  • A base coat over raked brickwork due to minimal shrinkage
  • Hiding substrate irregularities
Formulated to provide:MR 180

  • A slow setting time – average 180 minutes working life
  • Superior trowel-ability
  • Increased adhesion

Most suitable for:

  • An extended ‘hang time’ assists in the application and finishing of broad wall areas

Formulated to provide:MR 120

  • A medium setting time – average 120 minutes working life
  • Superior darbying and tear resistant screed-ability
  • Increased adhesion

Most suitable for:

  • Moderate hang time not directly affected by climate conditions

Formulated to provide:MR 60

  • A fast setting time – average 60 minutes working life
  • Superior darbying and tear resistant screed-ability

Most suitable for:

  • Small jobs where a product with an extended hang time would delay the finishing process
  • Plasterer requires a render that ‘sets up fast’ and can be applied and then finished quickly

Formulated to provide:MR G

  • A coarse grain, traditional render finish, ideal for hiding substance irregularities
  • Superior ‘trowelability’
  • Increased adhesion
  • Tear resistant ‘screedability’
